He has great conformation, very well built. Huge hip with nice lines. Oakley has a strong athletic build and weights
close to 1300lbs ! "Oakley" has a quiet ,very easy-going
disposition with VERY strong Dun Factor ( almost has to be seen to be believed ) . He passes on his size, trainable
mind, build and good bone.
Since he is Homozygous Black (EE) he CAN NOT produce a red foal
! ( no chestnuts or sorrels) regardless what color the mare is. To date he has produced Duns, Red
duns, Blacks...even grullos out of red mares. His foals are great to work with, easy going , level headed and
pick up on things fast. If you are looking for a stallion with a sound mind, size, color and the bloodlines you
have found him. His foals should excel in reining, roping, reined cowhorse...and much more. "Oakley"is also proving
himself as a strong sire for crossing on running type mares. With his size and build he is a wonderful cross on a speed bred
mare for barrel and rope prospects !!!
